Boniface has been out of action for three months after undergoing surgery on a right knee cartilage injury.

Galatasaray and Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has celebrated the return of his international teammate, Victor Boniface, to fitness and training at Werder Bremen.
The prolific, Turkey-based striker reacted to the encouraging news in a recent social media post.
Boniface, who is currently on loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen, returned to training on Wednesday after recovering from a knee injury.
He had been sidelined for three months following surgery on his right knee cartilage.

Announcing his return to the pitch in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Boniface shared a picture of himself training individually.
The Nigerian international captioned the now-trending post: “God blessing”.
Responding to the image, Osimhen took to the comment section to show his support, writing: “GOD is the greatest; star boy is back!”
