Annie Macaulay reverts IG name to ‘Idibia’ amid 2Baba’s feud with partner, Natasha Osawaru

Nollywood actress and model, Annie Macaulay, has set tongues wagging on social media after reverting her Instagram name to Idibia, her estranged husband’s surname.

​The thespian made the move on Thursday amid the ongoing marital drama between ace Afrobeats singer, Innocent Idibia a.k.a 2Baba, and his new partner, Natasha Osawaru.

​Previously, in March 2025, Annie changed to her maiden name, Macaulay, after 2Baba, announced their separation and made his relationship with Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, public.

​Annie’s latest decision to revert to the singer’s name amid his feud with Natasha, and without any explanation, has stirred curiosity among Nigerians.

​The development came a few hours after a video showing 2Baba being arrested and handcuffed in London for allegedly engaging in a heated altercation with Natasha surfaced.

​The trending clip was followed by another viral video in which the singer was being assaulted while participating in Daddy Freeze’s Instagram livestream.

​Before the stream ended abruptly, the singer was heard asking Natasha, “What is your problem?”, just seconds before she apparently grabbed the phone from him.

​Meanwhile, 2Baba’s family has escalated the situation, accusing Natasha of assaulting their son, committing bigamy, and engaging in financial misappropriation, in a trending letter dated November 12 and addressed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.
