Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Thursday evening defeated Gabon 4-1 and qualified for the final of the CAF 2026 World Cup playoff ongoing in Morocco.
Nigeria opened the scoring in the crucial encounter in the 78th minute through Akor Adams.
The Panthers of Gabon restored parity in the 89th minute when Mario Lemina leveled the score.

A goal from Chidera Ejuke and a brace from Victor Osimhen in extra time, however, ensured Nigeria emerged victorious.
