Super Eagles will now play the winner of the other semi-final clash between Cameroon and DR Congo in the final on Sunday.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Thursday evening defeated Gabon 4-1 and qualified for the final of the CAF 2026 World Cup playoff ongoing in Morocco.

​Nigeria opened the scoring in the crucial encounter in the 78th minute through Akor Adams.

​The Panthers of Gabon restored parity in the 89th minute when Mario Lemina leveled the score.

​A goal from Chidera Ejuke and a brace from Victor Osimhen in extra time, however, ensured Nigeria emerged victorious.
