Nigerian singer and rapper, Panshak Henry Zamani, better known as Ice Prince, has clarified the reason for his drastic weight loss, insisting that he is not sick.
Speaking on his official X page on Monday, the ‘Oleku’ crooner explained that he chose to lose weight for health reasons.
He noted that an unhealthy lifestyle had caused him to gain excess belly fat, and he only began exercising after family and friends raised concerns.
He also mentioned that his producer, Chopstix, became his fitness trainer and assisted him throughout the process.

While sharing his weight loss journey with his fans, Ice Prince wrote:“God so good inna me life… A short story!
[I] was literally about to explode… no sickness (Bless God) just bad habits and choices, but then Chopstix and Dami said ‘let’s loose the belly Ice’ and that really sparked something in my brain that got me activated… from that meeting, my brother chopstix started coming to my house everyday after dinner and we both walked my estate for an hour… our talks during those walks are priceless to me, as every other thing we’ve both talked about since we were kids!!! buss a shot fa ma true fren”
In recent times, several Nigerian celebrities have made headlines due to significant weight loss.
In 2022, former plus-sized actress Eniola Badmus lost an incredible 80 kilograms, dropping from 170kg to her current 90kg.
Earlier this year, another actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, was also subjected to public scrutiny after her dramatic weight loss.
