Ahmed Musa since joining Kano Pillars has scored a total of six goals and provided two assists in 11 games

Kano Pillars winger, Ahmed Musa has expressed joy after his goal helped his team beat visiting Niger Tornadoes in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match played at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
The Super Eagles attacker made a return to the Usman Abdallah’s starting lineup in the nervy 2-1 win after missing last two games due to a knock.
The highly intriguing encounter was heading to a 1-1 draw when Musa scored a stoppage time goal to seal a win for the former champions.
It was his sixth goal of the season and the win powered the Kano City based team to seventh in the league table.
Taking to his social media page in the wake of the victory on Sunday, Musa shared four images of his celebration and wrote, “Pure joy, hard work, and passion captured in a single frame! What a game, what a win—the emotions in the picture say it all. SAI MASU GIDA.”

Since rejoining Kano Pillars at the start of the season, Musa has been instrumental for the NPFL giants, netting six goals and providing two assists in 11 games.
Before Saturday’s game, his last appearance for Pillars was in their 1-0 defeat against Rivers United in Port Harcourt on December 1.
He missed the Northwest derby against Katsina United a week later in Kano and also sat out their 2-0 defeat against 3SC in Ibadan.
This season, he is the club’s second-highest goal scorer behind midfielder Rabiu Ali who has eight goals.
Kano Pillars’ next game is a visit to Maiduguri to face El-Kanemi Warriors.
