A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has said that Nigerians can’t wait to sack President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 because they are facing  serious economic challenges.

He made this known on Thursday in a statement he issued to mark his 79th birthday in Lagos.

The PDP chieftain, however, said for his party to dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the seat of power, members must come together and purge themselves of divisive tendencies.

He further added that the current crisis in the opposition party was a result of self-interest by some members, who are bent on leading the party to destruction.

He went on to say members of PDP involved in such activities must be stopped.
