United States President, Joe Biden has reacted to the murder of an American hostage, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, vowing that Hamas will pay for killing him.
Biden, who said he is devastated and outraged by the news of Goldberg-Polin’s death, made this known while condemning his killing.
TheNiche had earlier reported that IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari in a statement announced that Goldberg-Polin and five other hostages were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists shortly before they could reach them.
“A few hours ago, we informed the families that the bodies of their loved ones had been located by IDF troops in an underground tunnel in Rafah,” Hagari said.
He added, “According to our initial assessment, they were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists shortly before we reached them.”

Prior to Goldberg-Polin’s death, his family and friends had traveled the world demanding his release.
They also met with world leaders, including officials in the Biden administration.
However, following his death, Biden said Hamas leaders will pay for the crimes, adding that his administration will keep working round the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages.
“It is as tragic as it is reprehensible,” Biden said.
“Make no mistake, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. And we will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages.”
Also speaking on the murder of the American, Vice President Kamala Harris said her prayers are with Goldberg-Polin’s loved ones as they mourn his loss.
She went on to say Hamas is s an evil terrorist organization.
