Three English Premier League (EPL) clubs have indicated interest in signing Chelsea defender, Trevor Chalobah this summer.

This was after the Blues new boss, Enzo Maresca excluded him from his travelling party for the US pre-season tour.

Speaking on the development on his social media page, Italian journalist and football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, said Chelsea have decided the 25-year-old’s price tag.

He went on to disclose that the West London club are willing to sell Chalobah for £35 million, adding that three Premier League clubs have since made contact.

“Chelsea are ready to sell Trevoh Chalobah for £30/35m,” Romano stated in a post.

He added, “Chelsea believe they have depth in the centre-back and right-back positions; difficult decision not to call him for the US tour but the plan is clear.

“Three Premier League clubs plus clubs playing in European football have made initial contact.”

Maresca opted to leave Chalobah back in the UK as he had plenty of other options in defence in the shape of Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi and new boy Tosin Adarabioyo.

Although Romano did not name the three EPL clubs that are trying to sign the Chelsea defender, Manchester United were linked with him in the past, but it remains to be seen if they remain interested as they have just signed Leny Yoro from Lille.

Apart from the Red Devils, Crystal Palace are among the clubs expressing interest in the versatile defender.
