Sabinus launches meme coin, ‘Sabicoin’ as fans warn skit maker against joining fake celebs

Sabinus noted that every holder of the ‘Sabicoin’ will have an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful philanthropic gesture

Popular skit maker, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu aka Sabinus has joined the league of Nigerian celebrities launching meme coins.

The Content creator made this known to his fans via series of posts on his X handle, labelling the coin “Sabicoin“.

According to him, the venture was not launched to make financial gain but for charitable gesture.

He also said no form of investment is generated by participating in the meme coin, adding that it was all about fun and entertainment.

He further noted that every holder of the Sabicoin will have an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful philanthropic cause.

He also explained that a portion of the fund on the meme coin would be allocated to education, health care and sanitation.

Taking to his verified social media page, Sabinus tweeted: “New ATH tomorrow. #SabiCoin

“Liquidity Locked, Contract Renounced

“Lfg!!!”

However, after his posts surfaced on social media, they elicited mixed reactions from his fans and other netizens.

While some commended the idea and suggested how to make it better, others
warned him against joining fake celebs.

An X user identified as @Osolever wrote: “Una want use charity launder money on blockchain… omo why una dey move like this? Why for charity, why not give from the royalty you make every month from your streams. Charity is the last thing to come in after a stable community. Removing funds will end in rugs $2B.

Another internet user, @mac__nelson said: “Under how many minutes. I no believe say na sabinus dey tweet this thing.”

@akeemaths tweeted: “Dem no even allow the marketcap pass $1 million . People don dey dump.”

While @kokotechnology wrote: “Take this to over $10m in a week.. Don’t do like other fake celebs.”

However, @Danvicotech encouraged him, saying: “Boss go and add the twitter handle and telegram.”
