D’banj Invites Don Jazzy to Celebrate 20-Year Music Anniversary

In a heartfelt gesture, music star D’banj has extended an invitation to his former business partner and renowned producer, Don Jazzy, to join him at his 20-year anniversary dinner. D’banj acknowledged the significant role Don Jazzy played in his illustrious career, emphasizing that his musical journey would be incomplete without him.

D’banj shared a nostalgic clip on his Instagram account from his visit to Don Jazzy on Tuesday, where he personally handed over the invitation card for the celebratory event. In his post, D’banj expressed deep gratitude and fond memories of their collaborative achievements.

“My 20-year journey cannot be complete without @DONJAZZY again! Giving him the invite to my anniversary dinner was a moment filled with nostalgia. As we both celebrate 20 years in the industry, I’m reminded of the countless memories and milestones we’ve shared together. Here’s to two decades of brotherhood, entertainment, and unwavering support. Love you always, Brother! OooSHeeeee,” D’banj wrote.

D’banj and Don Jazzy co-founded Mo’Hits Records in 2004, a label that played a pivotal role in shaping the Nigerian music scene. The duo enjoyed tremendous success until the label disbanded in 2012 due to differing interests. Following the split, Don Jazzy founded Mavins Record Label, while D’banj established DB Records.

The anniversary dinner marks a significant milestone, celebrating two decades of their contributions to the music industry. Fans and industry insiders alike are eagerly anticipating this reunion, which highlights the enduring legacy of their partnership.
