Speed Darlington mocks Portable after he was arrest by police

Speed Darlington via an IG post ridiculed Portable, saying the ‘Zazu’ crooner was posing as a superstar while struggling with debts

Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington has aimed a dig at his colleague, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, following his arrest by police over car debt, saying his own “Benz is 18 years old and he doesn’t jump fence”

The controversial singer made the assertion on Wednesday via a now-viral video message shared on his Instagram page.

TheNiche had earlier reported that Portable was arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased a G-Wagon from a car dealer.

Reacting to the arrest, Speed Darlington ridiculed the ‘Zazu’ crooner for posing as a superstar while struggling with debts.

He went on to say unlike Portable he lives within his means and has no reason to evade the police, emphasizing that he drives a  Benz that is 18 years old.

Speaking via his verified social media page, Speed Darlington said: “Una see Portable jump fence? Portable don cast o! Yoruba superstar no get money for Benz [laughs].

“Nobody is looking for me. Everything is cash and carry. I don’t hang my hand on a shoulder I can’t reach. Portable was flaunting his GLE but he didn’t have the money to pay for it.

“Guess how old my Benz is? 18 years. But I’ve peace of mind. I can’t jump fence.”
