The emerging talent disclosed how she was rejected for a role by a casting director solely due to her facial scar, leaving her emotionally distraught.

A screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation shared by Jemima exposed the callous remarks made by the casting director. Despite acknowledging her stellar performance in the audition, the director conveyed regret over her scar, asserting that it disqualified her from the role as the character didn’t possess such a feature.

Expressing her anguish, Jemima lamented the recurring instances of humiliation she has faced throughout her career. She pleaded for empathy from casting directors, urging them to refrain from delivering hurtful remarks.

“I’m tired of being strong… especially to casting directors, I’m trying, I’m really trying,” she expressed. “You guys don’t know what I’ve been through, and it’s only fair if you are nice with your comments.”
