Ruger expresses regret over body-shaming BNXN

-

In a recent podcast appearance on the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, famously known as Ruger, opened up about his past feud with fellow artist BNXN, expressing remorse for body-shaming him during their social media clash in 2022. Ruger’s regretful admission comes as a significant shift in their relationship dynamics.

Ruger, who had previously engaged in a heated exchange with BNXN, took the opportunity to reflect on his actions during the podcast, co-hosted by reality star Tolanibaj and actress Moet Abebe. “I feel bad that I body-shamed BNXN (Buju), I regret it,” Ruger stated during the episode, indicating a newfound sense of accountability and reconciliation.

The reconciliation between Ruger and BNXN marks a positive development in the music industry, particularly as both artists have collaborated on a recent track titled ‘Romeo Must Die.’ Their decision to move past their differences underscores the maturity and growth within the music community.

Notably, Ruger’s departure from his former record label, D’Prince’s Jonzing World, to establish his own imprint, Blown Boy Entertainment, appears to have paved the way for a fresh start and a renewed perspective on interpersonal relationships within the industry.

As Ruger and BNXN set aside their past conflicts and embrace collaboration, fans eagerly anticipate the potential for future joint projects and a continued spirit of unity within the Nigerian music scene.
