Ondo PDP suspends state chairman Fatai Adams for alleged anti-party activities

The leadership crisis rocking the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ondo State Chapter has consumed the state Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams as he has been placed on suspension.

Adams was alleged to have involved himself in anti-party activities and conduct likely to bring the party into disrepute.

TheNiche gathered that in the last few months, things have fallen apart among members of the State Executive Council of the party as the Chairman was fingered to be in the centre of the crisis.

In a letter signed by nine members of the State Working Committee of the Party approved the suspension of the chairman.

The working committee members that signed the notice suspending the Chairman are Tola Alabere, Dayo Awude, Oluseye Olujimi, Amos Fadope, Moses Awofade, Boluwaji Bamidele, Olawumi Fasonu, and Kennedy Peretei

The State Working Committee of the party stated that their action was based on section 58 (1B. C, F. H., and I) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017.

Adams, (the embattled Chairman) has been advised to appear before the state disciplinary committee for further interrogation within the next one week
