Oluwarotimi secures blessing of Akure East PDP elders to vie for council vice chairman

Elders and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the newly created Akure East Local Council Development Area.(LCDA) in Ondo State hav endorsed Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi as the Vice Chairmanship candidate of the party in the forthcoming February 17, 2024 local government elections in the state.

It was gathered that Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi was unanimously given the ticket at a meeting recently in Akure, the state capital to fly the party’s flag as the Vice Chairmanship candidate of the newly created council.

Abiodun in a statement issued at the weekend appreciated the leaders and members of the party in Akure East LCDA for their supports. They are Hon. Tony Ala, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Ogbera, Hon. Busuyi Oladimeji, Hon. Gbenga Bamidele, Hon. Niran Oladayiye, Hon. Olajide Oguntodu (Minority Leader), Mr. Banji Omomo, Mr. Dowole Isaac, Hon. Deji Alade Muller, Mr. Wande Eniola, Mrs Bukola Kolawole among others

“I want to use this medium to inform all the members of PDP in Oda Ward Six and Oke Lisa Ward Five which form the newly created Akure East LCDA that I (Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi) have been given the ticket to fly the party’s flag as the Vice Chairmanship candidate alongside the Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Kunle Adeloye for Akure East LCDA in the forthcoming February 17, 2024 local government elections.

“It is a great opportunity for us to ensure that our party wins just like we defeated the incumbent in the last House of Assembly election. I pledge to serve meritoriously by God’s Grace”, he said.
