All Progressives Party (APC) chieftain and senator representing Borno South senatorial district, Ali Ndume and some of his colleagues have chastised Senate President, Godswill Akpabio for hastily passing certain bills in the red chamber.

Ndume, who is the Chief Whip of the Senate in a video from Thursday’s sitting was seen lamenting the rate at which the Senate President passes bills without formal reading and members’ contributions.

Also speaking, Senator Ogoshi Onawo of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),  Nasarawa State, frowned at the hasty passage of sensitive bills.

Seconding Ndume’s observation, he said: “Sir, you are on the seat today, history is going to judge you that things like this are not good for this country.”

Responding to the accusations, Akpabio replied: “If the bills we are passing are good for the country, history will judge me right. I don’t think we would come here to pass a bill that’s not good for the interest of Nigerians.
