All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) chieftain and senator representing Abia South, Enyinnaya Abaribe has explained why the sit-at-home order by Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) will not end easily.

The former Abia State Deputy Governor, made this known during a recent interview with Channels TV, where he claimed Ekpa and his cohorts are refusing to reverse the order because it has become a money-making scheme.

He went on to say the Finland-based separatist now publishes adverts on social media seeking money he claims he and his group intend to use in liberating ‘Biafra’ from the people.

Speaking during the chat Abaribe said: “Of course, the man who is profiting from it, who is far away in Finland, denounced it and put more conditions saying they will never stop it until we (South East leaders) see him in Finland.

“We can now see that because they profit from this, they are not going to stop it because it has become a money-making venture.

“We have seen adverts on the internet asking people to contribute money for the liberation of Biafra.”
