Rema says his Barcelona visit wasn’t to intimidate others

Rema recently visited Barcelona players during their training sessions and he was presented with a personalised jersey

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and rapper, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has insisted that his recent visit to Barcelona players at their training ground was not intended to intimidate other singers or chase clout. 

Several media outlets reported that the ‘Calm Down’ crooner was seen hanging out with Barcelona stars during one of their training sessions recently.

It was further revealed in the stories that the sensational artiste was also presented with a personalised Barca jersey by the players.

Since the news and the video clip made the rounds on social media, it has generated a lot of reactions, with many fans and other netizens saying the trip was a confirmation of Rema’s status as a global superstar.

However, sharing a clip from the outing via his Twitter handle on Saturday, Rema stated that his recent visit to Camp Nou was not to intimidate his colleagues but to motivate them.

Taking to social media, he wrote: “No be to pepper Anybody, only for motivational purposes @FCBarcelona #ultra.”
