Ancelotti also described the goalless encounter against Real Sociedad as one of Real Madrid’s best performances of the 2022/2023 season

Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti has traced his team’s 0-0 draw at home on Sunday against La Liga opponent, Real Sociedad to hard luck.
Ancelotti was unable to come up with a winning tactic at the Santiago Bernabeu during the league match as he watched Los Blancos drop two more points.
The goalless draw means Real Madrid are now five points adrift of league leaders, Barcelona, who are now on 47 points after 18 matches.

Speaking during his post-match interview, Ancelotti said his team created enough opportunities to win the game but were unable to convert the chances.
He said “We created a lot of chances to get the goal, but luck was not on our side. That can happen.”
He went on to describe the encounter as one of Real Madrid’s best displays of the season.
“It was one of our best performances this season. It was difficult to make substitutions because everyone was playing so well,” he added.
Real Madrid who will now face Valencia in their next fixture on Thursday, will be looking to get back to winning ways in their quest to retain the La Liga title.
