The youngster is eligible to represent both Nigeria and Belgium because aside from having a Nigerian father, his mother is half Belgian and half Moroccan and there are speculations that he might fancy playing for the European nation.

However, when a Tweep asked the former Ajax midfielder which country his son will play for when he is old enough, he replied saying “Naija” and accompanied his post with emojis of thumbs up and prayer.

Denzel is hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a professional footballer but will have very big shoes to fill, if he eventually decides to become a Nigerian international.

Oliseh was an accomplished footballer in his active days and played for several top clubs such as Serie A giant, Juventus, Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund and Dutch giant, Ajax.
