The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has arrived Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, ahead of Monday’s official commencement of his presidential campaign.
Atiku was received at the airport by the chairman of the presidential campaign council, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom.

Other PDP dignitaries who have also arrived Uyo for the commencement of the campaign are Atiku’s running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta State; the campaign Director-General, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, and many other party chieftains.
