Arsenal who were 4th before the international break with a game in hand over their North London rivals, Spurs have since surrendered the lead and are now 3 points adrift of the Lillywhites after losing two games back to back.

Tottenham, on the other hand, have leapfrogged Arsenal and are currently in scintillating form, scoring nine goals in their last two games with wins over Newcastle United (5-1) and Aston Villa (4-0), respectively.

And 58-year-old Wright believes Antonio Conte’s men will go on to clinch the top four and play Champions League football next season ahead of Arsenal and Man United.

He made the assertion when asked to name the team that will finish in the fourth position in the Premier League this season, while analysing games on the Television programme,  Match of the Day.

“Tottenham – I think especially when you look at how they can score, Arsenal are not scoring.” Ian Wright said.
