Taking to her Snapchat, TolaniBaj said some celebs are in the habit of living above their means, resulting in some becoming depressed whenever they are unable to sustain such a luxurious lifestyle.

The 28-year-old reality TV star, emphasised the need to keep things simple, saying some of her colleagues create the wrong impression online.

She went on to say living a fake lifestyle must be exhausting as the person would be in an unwarranted competition.

She wrote, “I love living a simple life. Imagine trying to be a Lekki big girl. Some of y’all faves are depressed because they can’t keep up with the luxe lifestyle that they’ve created online but can’t afford offline.

“Must be exhausting to constantly feel like you are in a competition. Elemi loma last.”

It is not clear if the BBNaija star is throwing a shade at a particular celebrity or just making a general statement, but she has had a backlash on social media over the comment.

Tolanibaj was one of the housemates from the BBNaija season 5 “lockdown” edition, which was won by singer Laycon.

She was also caught in the web of the love triangle with Price and Dorathy while on the show. The relationship did not end well as the trio had a go at each other during the reality TV show’s reunion.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Nollywood actress recently announced on her Instagram page that she has bagged a new movie role.
