The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) is considering hiring Serbian coach, Mladen Krstajic, to take over from Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr.
According to Completesports.com, top NFF officials are set to meet his representatives this week to finalize details of his contract.
Therefore, Rohr’s exit could be finalized as early as this week and the 47-year-old Mladen Krstajic is likely to be his replacement.

The Serbian managed his country at the 2018 World Cup, is currently unattached after leaving as the head coach of Serbian club, TSC, last month.
Mladen Krstajić is a football manager and former player who played as a center-back.
He represented his nation, Serbia and Montenegro, at the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany.
The former defender was capped 59 times by his country and scored two goals. He also played for German clubs Werder Bremen and Schalke 04.
Krstajić also served as the chairman of the board of Bosnian Premier League club Radnik Bijeljina.
Rohr has come under intense scrutiny from the media and fans for the national team’s unconvincing performances during the group stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The Super Eagles could only pick up four points from a maximum nine at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos and two of their away victories came at neutral venue.
Nigeria struggled to beat Liberia in both matches, needing two first half goals in Lagos and two penalties at away, and only an unfortunate own goal in the closing minutes helped them secure three points in the away fixture at Cape Verde.
