Popular Nollywood actor, Freddie Leonard, has taken a swipe at the organizers of Big Brother Naija season 6, “Shine Ya Eye” edition for introducing a dramatic twist into last Sunday’s eviction.

Recall Biggie retained two of the five evicted housemates and kept them in the white room to play a game against each other to determine who will get the final spot

The talented Nollywood actor, who was enraged by this action, felt the action was unfair to Pere who got over a quarter of the votes cast and Nigerians who took the pain to cast the votes.

He made this known on his Instagram page, where he compared the twist to Nigeria’s dirty politics, where votes do not count.

“What is the difference between this and Nigerian politics? Why ask people to vote if their votes won’t count?

“So If @ Pere Loses the Puzzle in the White Room Will he go home? Even though he won on votes?

“BBnaija listen, people went out of their way, to put in the work and vote because you made us believe our votes will count.

“Better Do the Right Thing and Let the Winner of votes go back into the House as a finalist so you do not discredit a show that has the backing and viewership support of millions across the continent of Africa.

“This white room twist is clearly baseless and unnecessary.

“Even if Pere wins the puzzle in the white room, it will be unfair for him to go through that heart palpitating route with another housemates who already lost on votes!

“Big Brother! Do the Right Thing and Keep Your Show Credible. Do not rob voters!”

As at the time of this report, a total of 1,946 of his followers have commented on the post, with most of them agreeing with him that the twist was unfair to Pere and voters.

There were few who disagreed though, as they felt Pere is also a product of the injustice the actor was talking about, having entered the competition as a wild card.
