Nigeria’s former Minister of Budget and economy analyst, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, has carpeted the Communications Minister, Isa Pantami, over his “impassioned” case for Boko Haram terrorists.
Ezekwesili was reacting to the trending video in the social media, where the minister was supporting the terrorists in Hausa language.
She also asked if President Muhammadu Buhari has watched the video, while lamenting that a serving minister could be supporting those, who slaughter Nigerians, abduct citizens and collapsed communities.
Oby, in her twitter handle, @obyezeks, stated: “Incredulous!
What have I just watched?
Is this truly Nigeria’s Minister of Communications making an impassioned case for terrorists who slaughter Nigerians, abduct our citizens and have collapsed communities?
“Has @NGRPresident @MBuhari seen this clip? What’s his action? Any?
Recall, the Minister for Communication, Isa Pantami, said that he has never been soft towards Boko Haram and charged Nigerians to explore his preachings over the years to unearth the truth.
The minister had decred Nigerian military under Goodluck Jonathan for launching attacks against Boko Haram.
