Obafemi Oladapo Foundation has donated 10,000 exercise books to pupils in Okeagbe Akoko in Akoko North West Local government area of Ondo state.
Founder of the organisation, Mr. Obafemi Oladapo while speaking at the occasion at Okeagbe Akoko said the gesture is to support the less privileged and indigent students whose parents could barely afford school materials.
According to him, the efforts was geared towards complementing the efforts of the government of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredoku in delivering quantitative and qualitative education to the citizens of the state.
His words: “The gesture was designed to support the pupils in the town and that some parents may not be able to provide exercise books for their children, which will hinder them from concentrating on their studies.
“The Foundation moved around all the schools in the community to know immediate needs of the pupils and this time around, we are giving out exercise books to students to enable them to settle down.
Oladapo, who is a House Assembly Aspirant, said the Foundation was motivated to give out the books because of his unwavering commitment to the total development of the local government, couple with prioritizing the welfare of his people as a result of his indispensable love for his good people which will continue to be the hallmark of his service to them.
