U.S. President, Donald Trump, says he is conceding nothing to the President-elect, Joe Biden, as his successor.

Trump insists that the election was rigged, a claim the media in the U.S. say it is unsubstantiated.

Biden has warned that the U.S. government would treat Trump as a White House trespasser after January 20 should he fail to concede.

In a tweet on Sunday, November 15, Trump said:  “He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!”

The tweet generated diverse reactions depending on what side of the election divide one belongs to.

For Joe Biden’s supporters, Trump was making unfounded claims, while Trump’s people think the Republican candidate was facing an election  gang-up.
