He upset the odds by displacing Gbolahan Salami and Esosa Igbinoba in the standings, both of whom were previously above him by a lone goal.
Adeniji had been struggling to get his impressive scoring boots repaired, but after notching up 37 goals in three successive seasons he has now reawakened his amazing goal-getting stint.
