Nollywood actress, Yetunde Bakare, has announced that she is now an ex-Muslim after converting to Christianity.
The beautiful actress said her decision to be a Christian was best known to her.
Yetunde Bakare said she was born and brought up as a Muslim, and had learned the religion from childhood.
She said the reason she converted would be kept in her chest as she was not willing to disclose it to anyone.
She said what was paramount was not the religious observance but the connection one has with God.
She wrote in her Instagram that: “I was born and brought up as a Muslim and my sunnah name is MODINAT but I’m now a Christian for reasons best known to me.
“All the same I love my brothers/sisters in Islam at the end of the day Religion isn’t all that matters, your connection with God matters most JUMM’AT MUBARAK my people.”
