Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has once again decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The acting chairman of the APC, Mai Mala Buni, disclosed this on Friday after he and Dogara met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the villa.
The former Speaker said he would address the press on a later date.
Dogara, who was a member of the PDP defected to the newly formed APC before the 2015 elections and was elected Speaker by his colleagues without the support of the party leadership.
He decamped from the party and went back to the PDP before the 2019 polls and won back his seat in the House of Representatives.
It is not yet clear what informed his latest political move.
