Heartland and Sharks are set to clash in one of the Federation Cup round of 32 matches billed to hold across the country on July 8.
The two Nigeria Professional Football League clubs, who played out a 1-1 draw in a league match in Port Harcourt on Sunday, will meet in Calabar for the Federation Cup encounter.
On the same day, league champions Kano Pillars will face Plateau United in Kaduna; FC Ifeanyi Ubah will take on Bayelsa United in Oleh; Akwa United will tackle Peacemakers in Enugu; Nasarawa United will battle Makwada Warriors in Jos; while Kukuruku Dragons will attempt another upset against Enugu Rangers in Ilorin.
Federation Cup holders Enyimba will play Remo Stars in Benin; Lobi Stars are up against Niger Tornadoes in Kano; Sportlight FC and BJ Foundation will meet in Abuja; Gateway FC and El-Kanemi will clash in Makurdi; Wikki Tourists will tackle Tornadoes Feeders in Gusau; while J. Atete will face Prime FC in Lokoja, also kwara utd will engage ABU workers in Minna.
On Thursday, July 9, Crown FC will challenge Abia Warriors in Benin; Papilo FC will go against FC Taraba in Abuja; while Jalingo FC and Dolphins FC will meet in Makurdi
For the women’s second round, Cup holders Rivers Angels will face COD Ladies in Abuja; Nasarawa Amazons will challenge Delta Queens in Ibadan; while Bayelsa Queens will meet Beautiful Tour FC in Aba.
In the other matches, Ibom Angels will tackle Confluence Queens in Neros; Moje Queens will face Edo Queens in Ado Ekiti; Osun Babes and Fortress Ladies will clash in Minna; Rising Queens will meet FC Robo in Osogbo; while Alberto Queens and Sunshine Queens will slug it out in Oleh.
All the second round matches for the women will be played on July 8.
