A total of two persons have reportedly died in the Lagos three-storey building collapsed early hours of today.
NEMA Zonal Director, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the situation report indicates eight persons were rescued and two bodies were recovered dead.
“The affected families and occupants newly moved into the building as the previous occupants had moved out with the excuses that renovation would be carried out,” he adds.
Farinloye said the developer brought in the affected persons while renovation works were still ongoing
