President Muhammadu Buhari will again address Nigerians by 7 p.m. today.
That will be the second time the president will be addressing Nigerians since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
He will be expected to speak on whether to extend the two-week lockdown he imposed on Lagos and Ogun states and the Federal Capital Territory penultimate week. Many analysts expect an extension.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, announced the scheduled address in a statement .
“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast,” he said.
