The new management team comprising of the Chairman of Board, Director General, three Executive Directors and other board members have officially taken over the mantle of leadership at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) from the 2016 appointees.
Before his appointment, Dr Bashir Jamoh was
the Executive Director , Finance and Administration. He started his
working career in the agency in 2003 and rose to the rank of Executive
Director.
Many have applauded Jamoh’s appointment being the first
insider ever appointed as NIMASA, DG since the inception of the agency
in 2007
