7. Echoes of the end
This is darkness at the exit,
Light it we can’t.
Started it has and will end not,
Till its zenith dawns.
From between the fingers
Slips life
Onto the thorny time.
The hours of doom have descended.
Onto the people
A disconcerting era.
This is point of no return,
The prayer juncture is swept off.
A changing time has come,
Onto us the hours of doom have descended….
8. The candles will be dead
We will be dead
Without coffins,
Tombs and dirge.
At points of no name,
Three candles will burn faintly
In the darkness of transition.
None, not a single soul
Will cross over,
Despite rosary.
And at the hour of transfiguration,
The candle will be dead.
Then God will come;
The lamb shall be there.
