Two years after singer and TV star Goldie tragically passed away, MTV Base has honoured the memory of the late entertainer with the inclusion of her song, ‘Say My Name’ as this week’s Throwback track on the ‘MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten’.

This week’s episode of the weekly countdown show also features a moving a cappella ballad by pop singer Sheyi Shay.

The diva, who is this week’s co-host took an extract from her song ‘Jangilova’ and sang it to Ehiz who could not hide his toothy grin. While she may have won Ehiz’ heart however, she did not do so well on the chart as ‘Jangilova’ exited this week along with Burna Boy’s ‘Rockstar’.

Taking their places on this week’s countdown are ‘Oringo’ by Phyno coming in at number six and ‘Monkey’ by M.I featuring Chigurl, which comes in at number four.

This week’s big news is the fall of Kiss Daniel’s ‘Woju’ to number nine from last week’s number three, which sees Patoranking enter three top three with ‘Daniella Whine’ which comes in at number three. ‘Looku Looku’ by the Mavins and ‘The Sound’ by Davido featuring Uhuru and DJ Buckz remain at number one and two, respectively, while ‘Collabo’ by P-Square featuring Don Jazzy drops five places to number 10.

As mentioned earlier, this week’s throwback track is ‘Say My Name’ by Goldie, and the ‘Hit or Miss’ track is “Imaka’ by AM.
