-

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with the family of Aliagan and the Muslim community on the death of Imam Oba Zubair Magaji Aliagan.

Sheikh Aliagan, a centenarian, died on Sunday.

“Baba Aliagan was no doubt a dutiful servant of God and a revered scholar whose death is a blow to the Muslim community, irrespective of his very long years on earth,” the governor said in a statement by his media spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye.

“We pray the Almighty God to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-jannah and not make his death a source of calamity for the family and the community he left behind.”
