The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara, delivered a spectacular result for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in today’s elections.
The PDP was declared winner of the presidential elections in all the three polling units in his ward.
At the Polling Unit 007A, Central Primary School Gwarangah, Bauchi, where he voted, PDP polled 285 votes and APC 15. Nineteen votes were declared invalid.
At the second Polling Unit in Dogara’s village – PU 007B Central Primary School Gwarangah, Bauchi, PDP scored 265 as against APC’s 16, with 18 invalid votes.
The situation was the same at the PU 007C Central Primary School Gwarangah, Bauchi (Third Polling Unit in Yakubu Dogara’s village) where the PDP garnered 290, with the APC scoring 09.
