Heavy downpour stalls vote count in Lagos

In the last one hour, residents of Lagos have been enduring a heavy down pour which commenced at about 1 pm, and have not shown sign of abetting.

Voting in most polling units ended at about the time the rain started pouring.

Poling officials and voters took shelter where they could find.

Vote count is supposed to have commenced but the rain has stalled the process.
