The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has lifted the ban it placed on the continuation of campaigns after the polls were rescheduled on Saturday.
The INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu said on Saturday that the campaigns had been closed when pleaded with to extend the period.
The lifting of the ban was announced by Festus Okoye, as INEC commissioner and chairman, Committee on Information and voter education.
According to Okoye, the campaigns continues till Thursday, February 21.

The polls now come up on February 23 and March 9 respectively.
