Fans were allegedly assaulted and almost raped at Thursday’s Infinity Live Concert organized by Nigerian singer, Davido.
According to eyewitness reports, a melee ensued the moment Davido began spraying money in the air. One of the fans said he lost his phone and other valuables in the process.
“Davido ‘s concert was going smoothly not until he started spraying money into the air, I didn’t even bother to struggle but in that process, I don’t know what happened I lost my phone, power bank cord and my transport fare I got injured again,” one Joshua said.
Another fan said she was sexually molested at the show.
According to her, a man groped her, pushed her to the ground and inserted his fingers into her private part all in the full glare of Davido.
“I was robbed and assaulted at Davido’s Infinity Live Concert and Davido looked me straight in the eye,” she said.
She accused the singer of being insensitive.
“I lost my phone, my ATM card, and all my money because you couldn’t stop the show to see that your fans were dying. A grown man groped me, inserted his fingers in my vagina and continuously beat me up. I fell down on broken glass and you just continued,” she said.
In another incident, Davido allegedly beat up Kizz Daniel’s manager backstage.
Eyewitness reports said the singer met him backstage and asked his staff who he was and when they told him, he went straight to the man and beat him up.
This infuriated Kizz Daniel who immediately stormed out of the show. He was billed to perform at the concert.
Davido has been known to be short-tempered and regularly use of derogatory words at people.
In a reply to a blogger, Kemi Oluloyo, the singer used disparaging words when she alleged that the singer had parted ways with his girlfriend, Chioma over strings of affairs by him.
