Lagos State publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has said that the manner in which members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) comport themselves show that they have not repented.
Igbokwe was a discussant at TheNiche 4th anniversary lecture which was delivered by presidential hopeful and former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor, Kingsley Moghalu on the topic ‘Development Reporting and Hysteria Journalism.’
He said for the fact that the PDP took money and still maintained bold face was a sign that it has not repented.
“It is not that the offender cannot be forgiven, but has the offender repented?,” he asked.
He said it was untrue that President Muhammadu Buhari referred to Nigerian youths as lazy.
According to him, the opposition changed the narrative.
His attempts however to rationalise what the President said was resisted by the audience with screams.
Former presidential candidate of Kowa Party, Remi Sonaiya was the chairperson of the occasion.
Senate President Bukola Saraki, was the guest of honour. He was represented by Ben Bruce, the senator representing Bayelsa East.
