President Muhammadu Buhari has declared the tenure extension granted to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Oyegun, as illegal and against the party’s constitution.
It would be recalled that National Executive Council (NEC) of the party, last month, extended the tenure of Oyegun and other NWC members of the party.
However, President Buhari, addressing shocked members of the party at the Headquarters on Tuesday, said the action was illegal.
This comes a day after the National Caucus meeting of the party met at the Presidential Villa.
