Eyiboh convenes strategic meeting to strengthen political harmonisation and grassroots coordination
Political stakeholders in Esit Eket Ward 9 have intensified efforts to strengthen internal cohesion and consolidate grassroots political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections, following a strategic stakeholders’ meeting convened on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at The House of Eyiboh.
The meeting, coordinated by the Ward Campaign Director of the Tinubu and Umo Eno Re-election Campaign Organisation and Special Adviser to the President of the Senate on Media and Publicity, Rt. Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, brought together political leaders, unit coordinators and party faithful in a deliberate effort to advance political harmonisation, strengthen stakeholder relationships and establish a common framework for coordinated engagement across the ward.
At the heart of the engagement was the recognition that effective political organisation requires more than individual commitment; it demands cohesion among stakeholders, structured communication, mutual understanding and a shared sense of responsibility.
These considerations informed discussions on strengthening existing political structures, promoting inclusiveness and ensuring that grassroots participation is properly coordinated ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The gathering also provided an opportunity to consolidate ongoing harmonisation efforts, address the imperative of stronger collaboration among political actors and reinforce the importance of collective ownership of the campaign organisation’s objectives.
In attendance were the Councillor representing Ward 9, Hon. Anthony Effiong Okon; Hon. Okon Bassey Iyanam; Pastor Esemi Udi; Hon. Daniel Edet Akpe; Mr. Augustus Amos; Pastor Unwana Tom; Hon. Samuel Francis Okon; Mr. Victor Tom; Hon. Edoho Sunday Okon; Hon. Gabriel Okon Peter; Mr. Godwin Paul; Mrs. Ini Nnamudo; and Mr. Imo Tommy Eshiet, alongside other critical stakeholders and members of the party.
Deliberations further emphasised the need for clearly defined responsibilities, sustained communication and mutual respect across the political structure, with participants underscoring that unity and organisational discipline are essential considerations in building a functional grassroots network.
The engagement was situated within the broader preparations for the 2027 general elections and the campaign organisation’s mobilisation objectives in support of the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Umo Eno under the ARISE Agenda.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by stakeholders to sustain the harmonisation process, deepen cooperation and strengthen coordinated grassroots engagement across Ward 9 as preparations for the 2027 electoral cycle gather momentum.
