The Force Headquarters, Abuja has deployed Bayelsa Commissioner of Mr. Asoquo Amba to the Counter Terrorism Unit ( CTU), Abuja.
Asuquo was speaking to Journalists at the Command Headquarters in Yenagoa when he handed over to his successor in a brief ceremony former spokesman Don Awunah.
According to Awunah he was posted to Bayelsa state to serve. He also disclosed that Vigilante cannot be alternative to policing , but security requires collaboration and synergy with other security agencies and the general public.He solicited for volunteering of information to enable the police fight crime and criminality.
He vowed to deploy community policing strategy to reduce crime and criminalities in the state, adding that he would display absolute professionalism , Transparency , honesty and dedication to duty both on land and waterways.
He ordered criminals to leave the state for elsewhere.
