Nigerian Army on Wednesday morning, September 13, 2017, withdrew its troops and armourd vehicles from the country home of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, in Afara-Uku, Umuahia, Abia State.

Kanu, who was supposed to be under house arrest, was said to have left his house late last night, while the three-day curfew declared by the state government lingers.

Meanwhile, the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has scheduled a meeting in Umuahia on Thursday, September 14, 2017, with all the market leaders in Umuahia and Aba to brainstorm on the way forward for the state after IPOB-military clash on Sunday.
