The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, returned this morning from London where he went yesterday to see President Muhammadu Buhari.
Osinbajo travelled to London on Tuesday, according to a tweet by his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, on his official Tweeter handle.
Akande confirmed the acting president’s return.
Buhari has been in London for medical treatment for over 65 days, during which time Osinbajo has acted as president.
Meanwhile, Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has said that ailing President Muhammadu Buhari is recovering fast and will return to the country soon.
Osinbajo stated this on Wednesday in a brief chat with State House correspondents before the commencement of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The acting president travelled to London late on Tuesday where he said he met with Buhari ” for well over an hour” adding that the president is almost back to his normal self.
