Longinus Kendirim Elibe is Dead.
A retired superintendent of Police, the late Elibe died on June 27, 2016 after a brief illness at the age of 62. He was a devout Christian, a disciplinarian, a hard working man who rose from the ranks to the position of Superintendent of Police in the Nigeria Police Force until his retirement in the year 2010.
A statement jointly signed by his first son, Adolphus Obinna Elibe and his uncle, Mr. Dominic Okpor, in Ohoba on behalf of the family puts the burial date on October 29, 2016 at his compound Umuokosu Umukpo Ohoba in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State after Church service by the Jehovah Witness Church Ohoba Ohaji.
Left to mourn him are his only surviving wife, Chundung Elibe, his second son Bamidele Elibe, other children, brothers, sisters and host of other relations among whom is Mr. Onwukwe Ezeru the Abia State correspondent of The Niche Newspaper.
