He revealed that he has received offers from several other clubs, but he has yet to decide on where he will feature next season.

He said: “I have received calls from clubs who want to sign me, but I have not taken any decision yet. I am still studying the situation.

“Playing in the Premier League is good for me, and I learnt that my former club, 3SC of Ibadan, has also gained promotion to the Premier League.

“I have enjoyed my time at Bayelsa United and I love the family. But things could still change before the commencement of next season.”

The highlight of the past season, for him, was Bayelsa United’s narrow escape from relegation.

His words: “I’m so happy that we were not relegated to the lower division because that would have been another story. Thank God we made it on the last day,” he said.

Bayelsa won 2-1 at Heartland to finish 15th on the table with 51 points from 38 matches.
